The Priests Hole, Lake District. No better place to watch the sun rise. Seeking out this cave has proven deadly to some though, so care is needed. always approach from below the cave and be prepared for a grade 1 scramble. One for a true adventurer.

Styhead Tarn. This tarn sits above Seathwaite, the wettest inhabited place in the uk so plan for rain. No better nights sleep than in a rainstorm. Lots of friendly locals too.

Cannock Chase, England. This dreamy forest has a world of exploration but the vast amount of wildlife here can make for a sleepless night.

Scorrybreac, Isle of skye. This spot may be a little close to civilization for some. However, with dolphins in the bay, eagles above your head and crystal clear waters, there’s no better spot for the nature enthusiast.

Coral Island, Isle of Skye. This grassy pinnacle on a piece of dead coral is surreal. To spend the night surrounded by sea is a magical experience. Only accessible by water.
